THE POWERCAT SERIES of Cable Recycling Plants are compact, efficient and engineered for long service lives.  Built on the foundation of our larger Firefox plants, Powercats use only top quality components ensuring reliability and long term profitability.  All plants are easy to access and simple to service. 

Powercat plants make cable recycling remarkably cost-efficient and highly profitable.  The Powercat series are perfect for smaller companies and cable factories who recycle 30,000-290,000 lbs./month.

You can choose between two versions:

Standard = Standard Powercat A, B, C Plants are equipped with a 50 horsepower (37kW) granulator motor with 5 rotating blades.

Turbo = Turbo Powercats have a larger granulator with 60 horsepower motors (45kW) with 10 rotating blades and offer 25% higher capacity than standard models.

We offer 3 different plant configurations in either Standard or Turbo:

Powercat "A" is what we call the "basic unit" and is fed manually via a conveyor belt with a 26" wide opening.  This plant is economical for operations that process 30,000 - 150,000 lbs./month.

Powercat "B" is the basic unit, extended with an additional Granulator and additional infeed conveyor with an optional over-belt magnet.  This plant is also manually fed and suitable for operations that process 30,000 - 220,000 lbs./month.

Powercat "C" is the Powercat A, or basic unit, extended with a pre-chopper, conveyor with overbelt magnet and a storage bin with variable speed screw to evenly and automatically supply material to the basic unit for final processing.  This plant is recommended for operations processing 30,000 - 290,000 lbs./month and for those who mostly process larger diameter cable.
